The break out Artist of 2019!

Ever heard a song and think to yourself: “This artist is definitely going to be a star”. That’s exactly what went through my head when I heard Indigo Stella’s new single title ‘BOSS UP’.
After only a few months of signing to the prestige record label, Mistro Records, Indigo Stella drops her first single under the label titled Boss Up!The song has a trappy sound and slaps hard, it can be compared to the likes of “I Love” by Joyner Lucas; and regarding the flow and rhyme scheme she leans more towards a Nasty C. The sound, flow and delivery combined make her as unique as she is.

Boss up is Indigo Stella’s anthem for a rejuvenated version of oneself as it aims to inspire listeners to get up from any challenges and setbacks that may come their way. This hard hitter encourages one to boss up and take control of any situation to get to the desired result. Expect to know a little about Stella’s family background as some bars are a clear indication that she gets a lot of inspiration from home.
Without saying too much, hear it all for yourself!

In the same breath, this weekend Stella along with Odd Media released Stella’s first video Interview titled “A Goat Story with Indigo Stella”, the name already says quite a lotabout how Stella is perceived by the youth and her peers.

Remo the Trillest is back!

Formely known as Taiter Trillest, Rémo has rebranded his sound consisting of melancholic trap and rap songs.

His first single as Rémo released in a visual format with the release of the “NO Favours” music video, which showcases the melancholic trap side of Rémo.

RÉMO maintains the alter ego of being the Trap Lyricists as you can hear from the song Done Boyz. Remo touches a lot on his life and speaks of his dad, how he started out and how he feels about the industry, while the bass just bangs!!

Done Boyz is also available on all Major Digital Platforms, but primarily on SoundCloud because that’s where he started out as Taiter Trillest and this time I’m sure his going to bang even harder !! Without saying too much, Remo – Done Boyz!

New talent on the block, Chris James!

The song Vibe is about letting go of all the bad and negative vibes. It is a up-beat hip hop track that will get anyone bop their head. Since his move to Jhb, this is Chris’s first song drops as a ‘testing the waters’ thing I guess, although I heard more songs coming from him and the kid has got more fire in the booth!

Right now though, check out the latest single, VIBES!

Blayze DeVille’s genius work of art, River Isle (EP)

Mistro Records artist Blayze Deville dropped a surprise EP and no-one was the wiser. This is received in a well articulated e-mail to what I would guess are Blayze’s fans and friends, it also had a link. Behind that link, something truly beautifu.. I mean dope!

The email read – “For the last 3 weeks, I’ve been putting together this project, and I’m proud and excited to present it to you. I’ve spent the last month with a throat infection, one that I’m still dealing with at the moment, but I decided that it won’t stop me from producing and recording this EP. This music means a lot to me, and what means even more to me is the fact you opted in to get to be involved in this part of my life.

Thank you, and I sincerely hope that you enjoy the work.
PS, the links are private, made that way so that you can exclusively enjoy this music before anybody else”

Indigo Stella brings the heat with this promo!

Indigo Stella is back with new visuals! I had a chat with her, and she confirmed that the highly anticipated music video for Boss Up is on the way..! So while we wait for that, Indigo Stella gives us GOLD.

Stella snaps on this one as usual, and also brings us a taste of what to expect on the coming EP, I suspect this song is link an intro to the EP or simply just a promo track. The bars are on point and the hook is definitely built to make you move. This only dropped on YouTube, please have a listen, rate the song and of course kindly do a write up on it.

KYL’OG DROPS LYRICAL ‘Hate To Say’ Cover!

One of the recent Mi-Stro records signings grabbed the Instrumental for M Huncho’s Hate to say and dropped some straight up old school fire!

With lines like “Even a trash can gets a little bit of the steak” you know that KYL’OG is a definite student of the old school.

In this one he addresses what his message is and also addresses some of the things he may have issues with in the game. Since this is an instrumental cover, I’m very excited and keen to hear what he has to do on his own beats.

Check out the music video to the cover below.

Fall Out Boyz World Wide – Subzero, a hidden gem

FifteenFifty’s very own Remo (formerly known as Taiter Trillest) has teamed up with some other dope artists and formed a crew, Fall Out Boyz World Wide.

The crew contains the artists Ivy Leeg, Curti$ and of course Rémo. Shortly after the crews formation, they dropped their first single titled SubZero! As expected with any new crew, they’ve had to find their synergy, and I think they’re coming together quite well and I foresee a lot of dope bangers in the very near future.

The song is about Ice, no not the freezer ice, hence the name subzero. The song is quite chilled in terms of production and is complimented by some of the best flows you’ll hear in this day and age.

Check out the song below and be sure to drop a comment and a like!

Febuary Drops Febuary’s Room!

First of all, if you haven’t heard of Febuary’s Room yet, then where on earth have you been? Nah seriously… Febuary’s Room is the birth of something new and different. It is an online conceptual radio show founded by the artist Febuary. Each episode is characterized by an interview between Febuary and an up and coming creative, with a playlist that is curated and mixed by Febuary, premiering music from underground acts around the world, as well as unreleased works of his own.

In Febuary’s Room episode 4, Febuary interview Flame, Ecco and Mellow (Lean Team) and they talk about their upcoming work and you also get to hear RIP Pt2 by Febuary as the only premier of the song.

In all the times I’ve listened to Febuary Room, I’ve only seldomly heard songs that I know, only 1 song actually. Haha, so it’s always very very interesting to listen and hear the different sounds.

Without saying too much, check out Febuary’s Room Episode 4 below, and if you haven’t listened to the other ones, START WITH EPISODE 1! No disappointments.

Champagne69 to drop latest single #PMS???

Approximately 20 hours ago, Mi-Stro Records (@mistrorecords) posted a date on instagram, not long after the boys from Champagne69 along with some other Mistro Signed artists posted an image similar to the one below.

Could this mean Champagne69 is dropping a track on Friday!??

#PMS

After thinking about it for a bit, I mean what else could it mean? Ladies and Gentleman Champagne69 is coming back. Judging from the different sound they went with on the “Army Of 2wo” EP, you can never really know what to expect.

I was at Back to the City and I got the pleasure of vaguely hearing this song being performed by the duo on stage, and it SLAPS!!!
I’m looking forward to hearing how the non performance version of it sounds.

This Friday, play Champagne69’s Shit!
